Well…Sam doesn’t always know HOW per say.
But why should he? he is a 20 something millennial /gen z so most old machinist would say he doesn’t know his tail stock from his own a##.
That being said, Sam has something going for him. He knows how to use a computer.
It also doesn’t hurt that he has two years of shop experience with both CNC machining centers and manual lathes.
Hopefully, the 4 plus semesters of drafting classes also come in handy.
